Christmas time (:

Soooooooo it's Christmas time (: and even though this past week hasn't been the best hopefully this can be a time to just focus on God and make things better. I just love the season with the chilly weather, cozy sweaters, colorful lights, movies, and hot cocoa by the fire while listening to cheesy Christmas music. Something about it just makes me as happy as I can be. I'm very excited to go and see Christmas musicals, it becomes an inspiration to be able to have a voice like some of those people. It's near the end of the year and almost the beginning of a new one and I'm really wanting to start focusing a lot more on my music. I want to expand the amount of instruments I play and learn more songs on the piano.

Aside from that, this Christmas I don't really wan't much. I really just want a stronger relationship with God, and my friends and family, because in the end that really all that matters. I hope all of you have a super amazing Christmas, laugh and love and don't let the bad things get in the way of having a great Christmas season! (: Love you all -Lyssa

My Thanksgiving Break

This blog has nothing to do with my blog topic.

This Thanksgiving break has been kinda interesting. I've been feeling very sick lately and I ended up in the hospital due to not being able to breath or see correctly. The doctor said it was very severe. The experience was very real, I had an IV in my arm and heart monitors and breathing machines. The lady who was taking care of me was very sweet though, she did a great job I only stayed in there for about half a day and then I was ready to go home and get some rest. I'm on a ton of medication right now, the side effects make me shaky and stressed out. I can't think super straight even as I right this. Also earlier in the week I had a huge anxiety attack. It's been an eventful few days but my actual Thanksgiving Day went well.
It was hosted at my Grandparents house and it was just a cozy party of about 20 people, everyone was doing different activities, like watching football, playing soccer, playing on the wii, and just pigging out on the food and just having a good time. It was a really good day to just forget about all the bad things that have been happening and be thankful for what I really do have. Although this week wasn't amazing I can say I truly felt God being right there with me in that hospital room and I know he's with me right now. It also opened my eyes up to the fact that I could've had my life taken if I was just a little to late. Again it wasn't my cup of tea, but I can't thank God enough for showing me these things.
